Logs are usually small in diameter, often having one drying shake which runs the length. Great for holding crisp details in lathe and carving work. Boxwood has a long history of being used by mankind and its timber is noted for the fact that is does not warp, and it has been used historically to treat fevers, small pox and even bited from 'mad' dogs.
